The 2021 Annual Amelia Island Pétanque Open was a blast !!
Almost 50 members of the Atlanta Pétanque League traveled from Atlanta to Amelia, including family and friends who came to support the competitors and enjoy the socials
every night. Meet. Compete. Drink! Eat!The fun began Thursday, with a walk on the beach and then dinner for the early arrivals.
On Friday the Women played a tournament : see a few pics of our Pink Ladies!
While the ladies were competing, some attended clinics or paid to ‘Play with a Champion.’ (Marco Foyot, Philippe Ziegler, Julien L’amour, Damien Hureau…)
On Saturday, APL had 17 teams represented. Here are the first day’s qualification games results:
