Hurricane “Nicole” did not stop all the participants from joining in on the fun! Nearly 50 members of the Atlanta Pétanque League travelled from Atlanta to Amelia, including family and friends who came to support the competitors and enjoy the socials every night.
The fun began for some on Thursday, with a dinner for the early arrivals and on Friday, the Women’s tournament took place, as well as several clinics with the champions.
This year we’ve seen the return of Dylan Rocher, Bruno Le Boursicaud, Damien Hureau, Stephane Robineau, Marco Foyot, Ziggy Kessouagni
and many more great players …
On Saturday, APL was represented by 15 teams. Here are the first day’s qualification games results posted in Facebook by the organizers
On Sunday, several APL teams went to semi finals and 4 teams made it in Final Consolante, and 2 teams won in their group.
